Miss Out on the Help For Heroes Shirt? Pre-Order Now!

Essex Cricket is proud to celebrate the incredible response to our special collaboration with national charity Help for Heroes, delivered in partnership with our Principal Partner, Ambassador Cruise Line.

The limited-edition Help for Heroes playing shirt – created after Ambassador Cruise Line generously donated their front-of-shirt branding for two Metro Bank One Day Cup fixtures – has proven hugely popular with supporters and is now sold out in most sizes.

Due to unprecedented demand, we are now taking final pre-orders for delivery in October. This will be the last chance to secure the shirt, with 50% of all proceeds going directly to Help for Heroes and their vital work supporting veterans and their families.

The shirt will also worn for Essex Women’s return to action against Hampshire Women on Thursday 04 September at the Ambassador Cruise Line Ground.

Special thanks to our Official Clothing Partner, Surridge, who donated the playing shirts for the match which can be purchased via our online auction on mathcwornshirts.com. The shirts from our comprehensive victory over Gloucestershire Men on Sunday are now live with a chance to own a signed and worn Eagles shirt with all proceeds donated to Help For Heroes – visit here

The initiative forms part of a wider commitment from Ambassador Cruise Line, who have been in partnership with Help for Heroes since March 2024. As part of this relationship, the cruise line hosts fundraising events, competitions, and wellbeing-focused activities, while also offering exclusive cruise access for veterans to help aid recovery and community integration.

Help for Heroes is a UK-based charity that supports veterans and their families from all branches of the Armed Forces. Since its founding, the charity has provided life-changing support to more than 30,000 individuals, offering recovery services, physical and mental health support, and career guidance, ensuring those who served are never left behind.
