Essex Cricket are delighted to announce the signing of Liberty Heap on loan until the end of the season.
Heap, 21, has joined Essex Women on loan from Lancashire Women for the remainder of the season and will be available for selection for all four of the remaining games in September.
The right-handed batter has featured for the England Women Under-19s and Development sides on eleven occasions scoring over 200 runs. In 2023, she was selected in the England Women Under-19s squad alongside Essex Women captain Grace Scrivens for the 2023 Under-19s World Cup.
Additionally, she was signed for the Manchester Originals in 2024 but did not feature for The Hundred outfit.
Heap will be available for Essex Women’s four remaining Metro Bank One Day Cup fixtures against Hampshire, Warwickshire, Surrey and The Blaze.
