Essex Cricket are delighted to announce that Jodi Grewcock has been called up to the England Women’s T20 World Cup training camp.
Grewcock, 21, has travelled to Abu Dhabi to take part in the England Women’s training camp and assist with their pre-World Cup preparations, alongside Surrey Women’s Tilly Corteen-Coleman.
The 2025 ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup runs from 30 September to 02 November with England starting their campaign against South Africa at Guwahati on Friday 03 October.
This season for Essex Women, Grewcock has scored 111 runs in five innings at an average of 37, with a high score of 45 in the Vitality Blast campaign. She also took 2-15 against The Blaze, showing her value as a handy leg-spin option.
