Essex Cricket can reveal the shortlist for Player of the Season and Performance of the Season, for both the Men’s and Women’s teams.
What a season we have had! Our women’s team turned professional, we’ve witnessed incredible performances from the teams and seen our players going from strength to strength.

We’ve also been through the archives and picked out our shortlist for the Thirteen Accounting Performance of the Season. We’ve chosen those stand out moments that we cannot stop talking about, the ones that are game-defining.
The winning Men’s and Women’s players and performances will be announced at the upcoming Players’ End of Season Awards on Tuesday 7 October with voting closing at midday on Sunday 28 September 2025.
