Welcome to The Essex Cricket Foundation, the official charity of Essex Cricket. Formed in the Autumn of 2015, the Essex Cricket Foundation works towards enhancing the cricketing environment in Essex for all.
From assisting Clubs at grassroots level to assisting the next Alastair Cook along the cricketing pathway, we are helping to ensure that Cricket is continued to be played for many generations to come.
Money raised by The Essex Cricket Foundation is spent on delivering a variety of different programmes to ensure people from all sorts of backgrounds have the opportunity to experience the sport. Funds are spent on providing disability cricket, supporting women & girls initiatives, as well as street programmes in urban areas across the County.
The Essex Cricket Foundation is dedicated to fostering the love of cricket and empowering individuals through sport across our communities. Our mission is to provide inclusive and accessible opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to participate in cricket, promoting physical activity, teamwork, and personal development. Through innovative programs, partnerships, and grassroots initiatives, we aim to inspire and nurture the next generation of cricketers while enriching lives and strengthening communities. Together, we strive to cultivate a culture of excellence, sportsmanship, and lifelong engagement with the game we love.
