Born in Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, Danielle “Danni” Louise Warren is the Essex Women’s Performance Director and works closely alongside the Head Coach to lead the Essex Women squad.
Warren joined Essex County Cricket Club in November 2024 as part of the Club’s transition to a professional Tier 1 setup. In her role, she oversees the strategic development and performance enhancement of the Essex Women’s team and the player pathway.
Prior to her appointment at Essex, Warren served as a Coach Developer and Mentor with the ECB from 2008, held the role of Regional Director of Women’s Cricket for London & East, was Head of Women’s Cricket at Middlesex, and served as Women’s Head Coach at Berkshire Cricket.
During her playing career, Danni represented Middlesex Women, making 113 appearances and taking 154 wickets at an impressive average of 18.25.
