Essex Eagles return to The Cloudfm County Ground on Thursday for the third NatWest T20 Blast match. Somerset are the visitors and the Eagles will be looking to bounce-back and get a win on the board in front of a electric home crowd.
Somerset are still to get a win after their defeat to Surrey last week and the match is set to a great clash with the Eagles looking to revenge defeat from the past two meeting in 2015 and 2016, which saw Chris Gayle smash 92 and 49, respectively, however… this time there is no Chris Gayle!
Ravi Bopara is in-form Eagle with 120 runs to his name across the two games so far in the competition. This included his 75 off 46 balls against Surrey in the opening fixture at The Cloudfm County Ground last week.
Tickets for the match v Somerset, which begins at 7pm on Thursday are still available and can be purchased online now!
