Will Buttleman’s season so far is going from strength-to-strength and he now has a first-class debut to add to his list of milestones.
Following a substitute appearance at the Ageas Bowl earlier on in the season after Adam Wheater suffered an injury, Buttleman was drafted up to Yorkshire following another wicket-keeper in Robbie White sustained an ankle injury during training on Sunday. This marks his first-class debut and will be full of confidence after his century at the weekend for Brentwood Cricket Club.
Essex Cricket TV spoke to Will following Day One which saw the Academy product take two catches, whilst also being involved in the run-out of Gary Ballance.
