Essex’s Overseas star Peter Siddle has been named in the BBL Team Of The Tournament.
The 35-year-old has been in lethal form for Adelaide Strikers throughout the competition, and his performances have been recognised with a place in the Team Of The Tournament, which is chosen by the Head Coaches of all the competing sides.
Siddle claimed a personal-best 17 wickets through the regular season, and added another 2 to his tally during Saturday’s defeat to Sydney Thunder to join Rashid Khan as the Strikers leading wicket-takers with 19.
He’s received plenty of recognition for his death bowling throughout the campaign, and with an economy of just 7.35, he stacks up strongly when compared to other seamers in the competition.
