The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has today released the fixtures for the Division Stage of the LV= Insurance County Championship.
Essex begin with a trip to Sophia Gardens to face Glamorgan, which is followed up with a fixture against Gloucestershire back at The Cloudfm County Ground.
Tom Westley’s side then head to the captial to face Surrey at The Kia Oval before wrapping things up at Chelmsford with a game against Northamptonshire.
Essex begin the Division Stage top of Divison Two, with 19 points. Northamptonshire are in second with 16, Surrey sit in third with 13 whilst they’re followed by Gloucestershire (12), Glamorgan (11.5) and Durham (4).
