Essex Cricket can today confirm the Club’s pre-season plans ahead of the 2022 season.
From Wednesday 23 March – Thursday 24 March, Anthony McGrath’s side will play an intra-squad game at The Cloud County Ground.
This will be followed up with a trip to Merchant Taylors to play Middlesex in a three-day friendly from Thursday 31 March – Saturday 02 April.
Club Captain, Tom Westley, said: “Pre-season is always an exciting time of year and all the lads are itching to get going and get stuck in.
“Last year didn’t go quite to plan, but everyone in the team is working hard in training so when it gets to April and the season begins, we can perform to the best of our ability and bring more success to this great Club.”
