The 2024 Cricket Collective Awards were held at The Cloud County Ground last week during Day Three of the Vitality County Championship match against Nottinghamshire.
All winners were recognised at the event, which was hosted in partnership with Cambridgeshire Cricket Board, and presented with their awards.
Over 80 people were in attendance in what turned out to be a fantastic day both on and off the field, with some interesting and exciting cricket on display, despite the weather.
Our guests enjoyed lunch and tea as recognition for their fantastic contribution across the recreational game.
The ECB Cricket Collective Awards (formerly the OSCAs) are aimed at recognising those volunteers in the recreational game of cricket who give so much of their time to the sport, and underlining that without these individuals, the game would not survive.
The awards provide an ideal opportunity for saying thank you to our volunteers for their incredible work and celebrate their success with them.
The awards were presented across the day by former Essex and England captain Graham Gooch, Essex Director of Cricket Anthony McGrath, ECB Senior Manager for Volunteering Esther Jones-Russell, Essex Cricket County Safeguarding Officer Phil Knappett, Cambridgeshire Cricket Vice Chair Rob Benson, Cambridgeshire Cricket Women & Girls Development Officer Hannah Warren, and Essex Playing Field Association Board Member Malcolm Webb.
