Jordan Cox has been included in a 16-strong England Men’s Test squad for the upcoming three-match tour of New Zealand.
Cox, 24, made his international debut in last month’s home T20I series against Australia and has also been named in the touring squad to take on the West Indies in three ODIs from this Thursday.
He will travel to New Zealand for a tour that takes in three Tests in November and December, following the end of his commitments in the Caribbean.
Cox was also named in the squad for the recently-concluded three-Test series against Pakistan, though remains in line for his debut in the format after not featuring in any of those matches.
The tour begins with a two-day warm-up between a New Zealand Cricket XI and an England XI at Sir John Davies Oval in Queenstown on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 November.
From then, the first Test at Hagley Oval in Christchurch is set to start at 11:00am NZST on Thursday 28 November (10:00pm GMT on Wednesday 27 November).
Further matches will follow, both starting at the same time as the first Test, at Basin Reserve in Wellington from Friday 06 December, and at Seddon Park in Hamilton from Saturday 14 December.
