Scrivens set for WBBL stint

Grace Scrivens is set to feature in the WBBL after signing for the Melbourne Renegades as an international replacement player.

Grace, 21, left for Australia earlier this month after becoming one of the first signing for Essex.

The all-rounder steps in for Alice Capsey, who joins England’s squad for their tour of South Africa, with the Renegades currently second in the standings.

Scrivens led the Sunrisers’ batting charts in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy for the past two seasons. She also made a big impact in this year’s Hundred, where she represented the Trent Rockets, scoring 157 runs as an opener.

We wish Grace the best of luck during her time with the Renegades, and she begins her competition with two games this week against Hobart Hurricanes and Sydney Thunder.
