Essex Cricket is proud to be supporting the Trussell Trust again this year and are now welcoming donations for the Chelmsford Foodbank in their mission to combat poverty and hunger in our local community.
Chelmsford Foodbank, part of the nationwide Trussell Trust network, provides three days’ worth of nutritionally balanced emergency food to people in crisis. With demand continuing to rise, your support can make a real difference.
We are calling on Members, supporters and our local community to come together and help make Christmas a little brighter for those who need it most. By donating essential items, you can help ensure that no one in our community goes hungry this holiday season.
How You Can Help
If you’re able to contribute, please bring your donations to the Essex Cricket Store at The Cloud County Ground on Monday-Friday, 9am-5:30 or weekends from 10am-2:30pm. All items collected will be delivered to Chelmsford Foodbank.
The collection runs until Friday 20 December, so there’s still time to get involved and show your support.
What to Donate
Chelmsford Foodbank relies entirely on people’s generosity. Whether it’s non-perishable food items, toiletries, or other essentials, your donations will go directly to local individuals and families in need.
