Essex Cricket welcomes Peter Siddle back to Chelmsford on a short-term deal as our Vitality T20 Blast Bowling Consultant.
Siddle will be joining up with the Eagles white-ball squad on a 30-day role as a Bowling Consultant during the month of June.
The Australian represented Essex over three seasons: 2018, 2019, and 2021, playing a total of 33 matches across all formats and taking 106 wickets.
Siddle was awarded his County Cap in May 2021 in recognition of his significant contribution during the 2019 season, when the Club won the County Championship Division One title as part of our double-winning campaign.
On working with Peter Siddle again, Director of Cricket Chris Silverwood said: “We’re really happy to bring Sids back into the Essex setup.
“He knows the squad and knows what it means to play for the Club and I’m sure the lads will learn a lot from him in the month he is with us”
