Graham Gooch Awarded PCA Outstanding Contribution

Essex Cricket’s Club Ambassador, Graham Gooch OBE, has been awarded the PCA’s Outstanding Contribution Award.

At the PCA Awards on Thursday 09 October, the Club’s Ambassador, and legend to say the least, was recognised with the PCA’s Outstanding Contribution Award for his incredible support of the game.

Gooch OBE received the accolade for his efforts in helping young players enter the game, supporting education programmes, and making extensive donations to the Cricketers’ Trust.

The former Essex and England captain has been an avid supporter of the PCA and the players’ charity for many years, and everyone at Essex County Cricket Club would like to congratulate Graham on receiving this well-deserved award.

The PCA Awards night saw not only a former Essex representative honoured, but also a current one, as Jordan Cox was named the 2025 Toyota Men’s Player of the Year. Click here to find out more.
