Premier League Challenge 2022

 

On Monday 08 August, the best players from both the Essex Premier League and East Anglian Premier League take part in the Annual Premier League Challenge. Both men and women Premier Leagues will be on show, with the women’s match set to start at 3pm and the men’s match to follow at 7pm.

The East Anglian Premier League is the top level of competition for recreational club cricket in East Anglia, covering Cambridgeshire, Huntingdonshire, Norfolk, Suffolk and North Essex, and currently has 32 full members.

EAPL will take on Hamro Foundation Essex League/11 Plusteacher Premier League, which is our the ECB Premier Leagues for clubs in Essex and East London and currently has 40 full member and 6 associate member clubs.

All leagues look to provide a pathway for young players of both genders into the First-Class game.

Mens

The event will be free to attend for all spectators, with the Doug Insole Pavilion being open from 2pm. Entrance to The Cloud County Ground will be available through the New Writtle Street Entrance with parking being limited but available on a first-come, first-served basis.
