Charlie Allison, Noah Thain, and Luc Benkenstein have all been named in a 15-player England Men Under 19s squad for the upcoming ICC Men’s Under 19s World Cup, hosted in South Africa.
The Essex trio all impressed for the Young Lions in India last month and will make the trip to Africa ahead of England’s opening game, which takes place on Saturday 13th January against Scotland.
Their other opponents in Group B will be hosts South Africa, on Tuesday 16th January, and West Indies on Friday 19th.
Durham batter Ben McKinney will captain the team, with Benkenstein named as the vice-captain.
