The Women’s London Championship 50-over competition draws to a close at The Cloud County Ground this Wednesday as second-place Essex Women face off against Sussex Women.
Essex supporters can get a last taste of one-day cricket as last year’s title winners play their penultimate match of the season at their Chelmsford HQ.

First innings: 11am – 2:30pm
Interval: 2:30pm – 3pm
Second innings: 3:30pm – 6pm
Tickets
Adult tickets cost £5 and under 18s can enter for free with no ticket required. Essex Members can also enter for free with this fixture forming part of the 2024 Membership.
Food & Drink
The Doug Insole Pavilion will be open for spectators and the bar will be serving a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Spectators are allowed to bring food and drink into the ground. The limited on alcoholic drinks is four cans of beer or one bottle of wine in a plastic bottle. No glass can be brought into the ground.
The Essex Cricket Store
The Essex Cricket Store is located by the Doug Insole Pavilion and will operate normal opening hours of 9am to 5:30pm. Spectators can visit throughout the game to pick up replica kit, cricket equipment and accessories.
Ground Entry
Both the main entrance and the Tees River Gate will be open for spectators with bag checks in operation to ensure everyone’s safety.
