Michael Pepper and Jamie Porter have been named in the PCA Men’s Team of the Year following their respective stellar seasons across all formats in 2024.
Pepper scored 1,058 runs for Essex in the Vitality County Championship and Vitality Blast this summer, as well as leading the six-hitting charts in the latter competition with 32.
Meanwhile, Porter finished as the leading wicket-taker in Division One of the Championship for the second time in his career, claiming 56 scalps, alongside taking seven in the Metro Bank One Day Cup.
Hampshire all-rounder Liam Dawson finished top of the PCA MVP rankings, and as such, captains the side, which includes representatives from eight different counties.
The team was selected ahead of the last round of the Championship, and all players selected will receive a personalised winner’s medal from Mappin & Webb.
The PCA awards ceremony takes place in London on Tuesday 01 October, where the best performing players in domestic and international cricket will be recognised.

The 2025 international fixture list has been revealed, with Chelmsford braced for high-octane action as England Women take on West Indies Women on Monday 26 May at 2:30pm.

The ballot will close at midnight on Monday 04 November and ballot winners will be contacted with a unique link to purchase tickets on Tuesday 05 November.
