Michael Pepper has been named in England’s IT20 squad for the upcoming series against the West Indies. This selection follows his involvement in the recent ODI series, where he was part of the squad but did not feature in any of the three games as England lost the series 2-1.
Pepper’s call-up is well-deserved after a standout 2024 season with Essex. He led the team’s scoring charts in the Vitality Blast with 535 runs, including two centuries against Middlesex and Sussex, earning him the title of Essex’s Men’s White-ball Player of the Year. His success also secured him a spot in The Hundred, where he represented London Spirit.
England will face the West Indies in the first IT20 match on Saturday 09 November at the Kensington Oval in Barbados with a further fixtures spanning both Barbados and St. Lucia.
