One of Essex’s incoming stars for the 2019 season has been getting set for his stints with the Club by putting in incredible performance in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Cameron Delport will be a new face for the Eagles and the Chelmsford crowd are in for a treat if he can recreate innings like struck on Saturday in the PSL. The South African broke the PSL’s record for hitting a century in the fewest number of deliveries (49 balls) to help his Islamabad United side reach the playoff stage.
He ended with 117 runs off just 60 balls and will give the Eagles some extra firepower alongside the likes of Varun Chopra, Ryan ten Doeschate and Ravi Bopara when the Vitality Blast gets underway on July 18!
