Aaron Beard has joined Sussex on loan for their next three LV= Insurance County Championship matches.
The 24-year-old bowler will be available for selection in Sussex’s next match against Durham which begins on Thursday 28 April, as well as their subsequent fixtures in May against Middlesex and Leicestershire.
Essex Head Coach, Anthony McGrath, said: “The move will provide Aaron with some valuable first team cricket, which has been hard to come by so far this season due to the wealth of talent we have had available for selection.
“We wish Aaron well and I’m sure he will excel during his short red-ball stint at Hove before returning for the Vitality Blast competition.”
