On Sunday (10 September) an Essex Representative XI will travel to Upminster CC for the annual Benefit Match in aid of the Essex Cricket Foundation.
The T20 clash, which is set to begin at 2:45pm, will be the showcase match for a wider day of raising awareness and funds for the Club’s Foundation.
Entry will be by programme, priced at £3 and available in advance or on the day. You can also support the work of the Foundation by entering the ECF Lottery here
The Essex Representative side will feature Men’s First Team players Jamie Porter, Aaron Beard, Ben Allison, Paul Walter, Jamal Richards, and Robin Das, alongside Ben Aust and Andy Catherell of the Ability team.
Two players from Essex Over-50s, plus staff members from across the Club will round out the visiting group.
Meanwhile, the hosts have named a 13-player squad for the fixture composed of players from across their various teams, including Vicky Waters, who will be the first female to represent Upminster Cricket Club in this match.
