Registrations for next year’s Essex youth cup competitions are now open, with clubs able to enter any number of the four tournaments.
The Brian Taylor Trophy for under-12s, the under-14s’ Sir Alastair Cook T20 Cup, the Trevor Bailey Match Play Shield for under-16s, and the under-19s’ Ravi Bopara T20 Cup are all once again up for grabs.
Oakfield Parkonians, Ilford, Harold Wood, and Wanstead & Snaresbrook are the four trophies’ respective holders after each of their wins in 2023.
A total of 125 teams, representing 48 clubs, were involved this summer, with 19 of those clubs entering teams into all four competitions.
The deadline to sign up is Wednesday 31 January 2024, with information and fixture details sent out during the week commencing Monday 19 February 2024.
All four finals will be held within the space of a week in late August 2024, kicking off with the culmination of the Trevor Bailey Shield at The Cloud County Ground on Friday 23rd August.
After that, both the Sir Alastair Cook and the Ravi Bopara T20 trophies will be decided on Monday 26th August, at Maldon CC and Garon Park in Southend, respectively.
The Brian Taylor Trophy final will then take place on Wednesday 28th August at Felsted School.
